Oakland Sister Cities Program

The City of Oakland Sister Cities Program has been created to promote peace, strengthen partnerships, increase cooperation, educate, promote cultural understanding, and stimulate economic development with countries around the world.

Our Current Sister Cities are:

  • Oakland community groups manage much of the cultural activities between the cities. Some examples of these activities include:
