Right of Way Inspections and Enforcement Section

The Right of Way Inspections and Enforcement Section is related to Sewer, Utility, Telecom, Streets, and Sidewalks; and is responsible for regulating all construction activities that are performed within the "Public Right of Way" with regard to compliance with the City of Oakland's municipal code, traffic safety, and prevailing Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction.

This section is also responsible for the following functions:

1. Sidewalk and street inspections and enforcement
2. Sewers and storm drains inspections and enforcement
3. SBC
4. Comcast
5. Fiber-optic inspections and enforcement
6. EBMUD
7. PG&E inspections and enforcement
