THE FOLLOWING ARE INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING HOW TO REQUEST TO SCHEDULE AGENDA ITEMS BEFORE THE COUNCIL AND THE COUNCIL COMMITTEES
1. 1. THE REQUEST TO SCHEDULE AGENDA ITEM FORM MUST BE FILLED OUT AND SUBMITTED TO THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S OFFICE BY 6:00 P.M ON TUESDAY, THREE (3) WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE REQUESTED MEETING. THIS FORM CAN BE OBTAINED FROM THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:
A. THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S OFFICE, #1 FRANK OGAWA PLAZA, 3RD FLOOR, OAKLAND, CA AND THE CITY CLERK'S OFFICE, 2ND FLOOR; AND
B. ONLINE
2. THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S OFFICE WILL REVIEW ALL REQUESTS TO SCHEDULE AGENDA ITEMS;
3. THE CITY CLERK'S OFFICE WILL COMPILE A LIST OF ALL THE REQUESTS AND FORWARD THEM TO THE RULES & LEGISLATION COMMITTEE HELD ON THURSDAY'S FOR APPROPRIATE SCHEDULING.
4. THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S OFFICE REQUEST THAT IF YOU SUBMIT A SCHEDULING ITEM, THAT YOU ATTEND THE RULES & LEGISLATION COMMITTEE IN THE EVENT THE RULES & LEGISLATION COMMITTEE NEED FURTHER CLARIFICATION.
