Oakland City Hall is located at 1 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza, between 14th and 15th Streets at Clay Street.

From the North Bay:
Take 101 South towards San Francisco, merge onto I-580 East exit towards Oakland/Richmond Bridge. Continue on I-80 West/I-580 East. Continue on I-580 East towards Alameda/Downtown Oakland/Hayward/San Jose/Stockton. Take I-580 East exit toward Downtown Oakland/Hayward/Stockton. Merge onto I-580 East. Take MacArthur Blvd/San Pablo Ave exit. Continue on W. MacArthur Blvd. Turn right on San Pablo Ave. Bear right on City Hall Plaza/Frank H. Ogawa Plaza.

From the South Bay:
Take 101 North towards San Jose. Merge onto 101 North. Take I-880 North exit towards Oakland. Merge onto I-880 North. Continue on I-980 East. Take the 17th St/San Pablo Ave exit. Turn right on San Pablo Ave. Bear Right on City Hall Plaza/Frank H. Ogawa Plaza

From San Francisco:
Take I-80 East toward the Bay Bridge. Take I-580 East/Downtown Oakland (CA-24) exit towards Hayward/Stockton. Merge onto I-580 East. Take MacArthur Blvd/San Pablo Ave exit. Continue on W. MacArthur Blvd. Turn Right on San Pablo Ave. Bear Right on City Hall Plaza/Frank H. Ogawa Plaza.

- Dalziel Building (250 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza)
- Parking Garage (entrance on 16th Street at Clay Street)
- Clay Street Garage (entrance on Clay Street between 14th and 15th Streets, behind City Hall)
- City Center Garage (entrance on 11th Street between Clay Street and Broadway; also entrance on 14th Street)

City Hall is BART accessible – strongly recommended:
When using BART – exit the 12th Street City Center station. Use the Frank H. Ogawa Plaza exit. City Hall will be on your left when entering the Plaza.
