Financial Services Agency
Mission Statement
The mission of the Financial Services Agency is to provide direct services
to Oakland residents and businesses and support services to the Mayor, City Council, City
Manager and City departments. Direct services include portfolio and debt
management, customer service related to business tax and
assistance with finance related inquiries. Support services
include financial management analyses and monitoring,
federal and state legislative support, procurement services, warehousing
and commodity inventory, and mail services. The goal of the Financial Services Agency is to provide all direct and support services with
timeliness, accuracy and courteous customer service.
