statement provides information about the City of Oakland, its Redevelopment
Agency and certain assessment districts within the City. Generally, this document
relates to seven issues: City of Oakland Taxable Pension Obligation Bonds, Series 1997 A & B Oakland Joint Powers Financing Authority Special Assessment Pooled Revenue Bonds, Series 1997 City of Oakland General Obligation Bonds, Measure K, Series 1997 City of Oakland General Obligation Bonds, Measure I, Series 1997 Oakland Redevelopment Agency Subordinated Tax Allocation Bonds, Series 1995 A Oakland - Alameda County Coliseum Authority Revenue Bonds, Series 1995 A, B-1 & B-2 Oakland Joint Powers Financing Authority Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 1996 |
The City and the Agency also serve as conduit issuers for various non-profit organizations,
private companies and special districts as well as issuing debt secured solely by
single or multi-family mortgage revenues. The Port of Oakland, a sub-agency of the
City, is considered a separately reporting entity. No information regarding such
conduit issuers or their financings has been included in this document. Nor has any
information relating to the Port of Oakland and its financing been provided in this
document. Such information may be requested directly from the borrowers. The City will also post general financial information on its Web Site: http://oaklandnet.com.
