1 The City has Lease Agreements with the Redevelopment Agency in connection with the Oakland Museum Facilities and the City Hall. In each case, the City budgets as lease payments payable to the Redevelopment Agency amounts sufficient to cover debt service on the bonds issued by the Redevelopment Agency in connection with these facilities. In the case of the Museum financing, the Agency has no obligation for payments beyond the lease payments received from the City. In the case of the 1993 Tax Allocation Bonds issued for reconstruction and renovation of City Hall, the bonds remain secured by tax increment revenues consistent with other subordinated tax allocation bonds of the Agency.

2 Par amounts shown for lease agreements represent the par amounts of the respective Agency bonds supported by the City’s lease payments. The bonds are not obligations of the City.
