Assessments
If you receive a citation for violating the new laws and do not comply within the time stated on the citation, you could be assessed an enforcement fee of $727. If an assessment is not paid, a lien will be placed against the property and collected with the owner's property taxes. An additional assessment of $250 will be made each time the property is liened.
