Plan Check/Seismic Safety provides plan checking for code and regulatory compliance which includes:

• State energy and handicap pedestrian accessibility;
• Structural, fire, life, and safety check (in conjunction with Fire Prevention)
• Oakland building code check;
• Review grading permits;
• Earthquake damage repair assessment;
• Seismic safety development; and
• Administration of the State mandated unreinforced masonry building program.
