The Building Services Division of the Community and Economic Development Agency (CEDA) is comprised of all operations related to permit processing, building plan review, construction inspection and code enforcement under the building and planning codes within the City of Oakland.

Services provided by the division include permit applications and issuance for structural, electrical, mechanical and plumbing permits, plan check and seismic safety, emcroachment and sewer permits, inspections and code compliance.
