Location: |
210 and 228 Broadway, 419 and 447 Third Street |
Proposal:
To construct either a mixed-use office/residential building or to construct a primarily residential building. The mixed-use project would contain 115 residential units, 57,750 square feet of office space, 11,000 square feet of retail or restaurant space and parking for 229 cars. The existing building located at 228 Broadway would be demolished as part of the project. (This is a revision to the project description in previous staff reports and in the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR). The revision results in less office space, fewer parking spaces and less total square footage on a smaller site which excludes the building/parcel located at 200 Broadway.) |
Alternate Proposal: |
Alternatively, a primarily residential building would contain 115 residential units, 11,000 square feet of retail or restaurant space and parking for 229 cars. The existing building located at 228 Broadway would be demolished as part of the project. (This is the same alternate proposal presented in previous staff reports and in the DEIR as the primarily-residential alternative on the same site which excludes the building/parcel located at 200 Broadway.) |
