Design Review of a two-phase proposal including demolition of the kitchen and infirmary wings, and the boiler house, renovation of existing buildings and new construction of three buildings totaling 174 studio and one-bedroom units for use as affordable senior housing and associated uses. The Excelsior Building (e) will remain to be used by the Altenheim Association as a language school, and for cultural events and administrative functions. Review and comment on the Historic Resources report and the historic and cultural resource issues per the Initial Study and Environmental Assessment in support of a Mitigated Negative Declaration/Finding of No Significant Impact.
