ANNOUNCEMENTS
SPECIAL PRESENTATION
Award of Merit presented to Mr. Stephen Beck, grandson of Francis Marion Smith, the Friends of Oakland Parks and Recreation, and the City of Oakland Office of Parks and Recreation in honor of their efforts and commitment to restore the four fiberglass mules, a commemoration of the 20-Mule Team," the remaining part of a 1969 installation honoring ‘Borax’ Smith at the Francis Marion Smith Recreation Center on Park Boulevard.
