NEW BUSINESS

  1. Action on 1720 MacArthur Blvd., (Altenheim): Notice of Intent to Submit an Oakland Landmark and S-7 Preservation Combining Zone Application Form submitted by the Oakland Heritage Alliance.

DISCUSSION

  1. Pending Landmark Nominations: Discussion to select five buildings to initiate for Landmark Designation by the LPAB in 2003.

BOARD REPORTS

  • Report on Historic Resources Preservation Workshop at UC Davis Extension, November 21, 2003 (Bliss)

SECRETARY REPORTS

  • Oakland Rose Garden Maintenance: Discussion of the historic elements of the Oakland Rose Garden to analyze funding that would be required to maintain the elements and to develop a budget request to City Council that would allocate the necessary resources.
  • Dunsmuir House: status of revision to previously approved plans for ADA ramp
  • Willowbrook Creamery Code Compliance - 2521 San Pablo Avenue: status of meeting with owner(s) (Armstrong)
  • Victorian Legal Center - 653 11th Street: received letter requesting Landmark Designation
  • Review of 2003 Meeting and Mailing Schedule
