Proposal:

Landmark nomination submitted by Pamela Magnuson-Peddle for the Fruitvale Main Street Program, Unity Council 

 

Recommendation:

LPAB Action – to Adopt Resolution to Initiate Landmark Designation and direct staff to forward the nomination to the Planning Commission for public hearing on the proposed designation.

NEW BUSINESS - Action Items

2.  LPAB Action to change LPAB Regular Meeting time from late afternoon to early evening.

Proposal:

Design Review of exterior modifications 

 

Recommendation:

LPAB Action – Per staff report. 

Owner/Applicant:

City of Oakland

General Plan:

Urban Open Space

Zoning:

OS(RSP)-Open Space(Region Serving Park); S-4-Design Review combining Zone.

Environmental Determination:

City Council approved an Addendum for the Oakland Clean Water, Safe Waterfront Parks and Recreation Trust Fund Ballot Measure in June 2002.  The current project will be reviewed using this document as a basis of information.  Any further documentation necessary will be provided prior to approval of final construction project.  

Historic Status:

A1+; Designated Historic Property (Preservation Study List and within Lake Merritt Landmark area); Local Register of Historical Resources; National Register Status – 3B, appears eligible individually and as part of a district (Lake Merritt API).
