Proposal:

Proposed interpretive display graphics and text to be placed at the relocated Ky Ebright Boathouse (from 2909 Glascock to 303 Derby Avenue) and Historic American Building Survey (HABS) documentation for the ICONCO and Ky Ebright Boathouse.

 

Recommendation:

Review and comment on proposed interpretive display and accept HABS documentation.

NEW BUSINESS - Action Items

Location:

230 Bay Place, Cox Cadillac Site

Proposal:

Design Review of mixed-use proposal including rehabilitation of the 11,700 square foot Cox Cadillac showroom with a 28,300 square foot addition to the rear for use as a retail grocery store, and the addition of 125 residential units in a series of new two- to four-story structures over a three-story parking garage podium.  Historic and cultural resource issues as they relate to showroom building and new construction adjacent to showroom building.

 

Recommendation:

LPAB Action - Recommend approval of design review, with conditions.  Comment on historic and cultural resource issues.

  • Request for formation of LPAB Sub-committee to work on the Oakland Museum, a Designated City Landmark, Renovation
  • Status Report:  Oscar Jackson-Mary Netherland House (formerly 714 Pine Street).

UPCOMING AGENDA ITEMS

·        2345 Broadway:   Mixed-use project, entails phased redevelopment of the project site with approximately 398 residential units, 21,164 square feet of retail space, and 583 parking spaces. Site includes buildings rated Cb+3, C3, and C2+.

·        1720 MacArthur Blvd Altenheim:  Development of affordable, independent senior rental housing units in a two-phase proposal, including Phase I renovation of original wood-frame buildings and dining hall and Phase II renovation of 1913 masonry wing and construction of new buildings.

·        Sheffield Village:  S-20 Notice of Intent
