Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Thank you for taking the time to visit the District 7 website. Since I began my career in public service for the City of Oakland over 23 years ago, and as a member of the City Council since 1997 I have worked tirelessly to improve the quality of life for not only District 7 residents but also for the residents of the entire City of Oakland. Through improvements in economic development, supporting and creating public safety initiatives, and charitable projects throughout the District I have continued to work to improve the perception and daily life of all East Oakland residents.
