The Finance & Management Agency, through the work of its employees,
provides quality direct services to Oakland residents and businesses and
support services to the Mayor, City Council, City Administrator, and City Agencies
and Departments. Direct Services include portfolio and debt management;
customer service; tax and parking collections (including the services of
a collection agency, Parking Citations Assistance Center, and Parking Enforcement
and meter collection and repair); assistance with finance related inquiries;
delivery of strategic, responsive, cost-effective technology services and
solutions; and human resource services. Support services include financial
management and maintenance of the Financial System, warehousing and commodity
inventory and mail services. The Agency will provide all direct and indirect
services with timeliness, accuracy and courteous customer service with a
focus on customer satisfaction. |
