Transit

The Downtown Oakland area is known as the Bay Area Transit hub. With Amtrak, BART, AC Transit and access to many major freeways within minutes, the Frank H. Ogawa Plaza is easily accessible, whatever your mode of transportation.

The Frank H. Ogawa Plaza location is between Broadway, Clay, San Pablo and 14th and 16th.

You may reach the Plaza via BART or AC Transit. (Click the links for transit directions), or drive from any of the major Bay Area freeways.

Parking Downtown

There are four public parking lots within walking distance of the Frank H. Ogawa Plaza.

The Clay Street Garage is on Clay Street between 14th and 16th and is directly adjacent to City Hall.

The City Center Garage is across the street with entrances on both 14th and 11th.

There is also public parking below 250 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza, accessible on 16th between Clay Street and San Pablo Avenue.

If you don't mind a short three block walk, there is additional parking at the City Center West Parking Garage, which has entrances on both Jefferson and Martin Luther King Jr. Way, between 14th and 12th Streets.

There is also meter parking surrounding the plaza and several above-ground lots in the immediate vicinity.
