Search for a Property Owner The Alameda County Assessors office has a searchable listing of all properties in the county. You may use this search to determine the type of building and lot number.  To find the owner of the property, call the Assessors office.  To search their list, go to their website at http://www.co.alameda.ca.us/jsp_app/assessor/property_info/index.jsp (opens a new browser window).   Maproom - Another way to find useful information is via the Maproom on City of Oakland main webpage. Under Dynamic Maps – CEDA Parcel Info Map, you can see aerial photo maps with details as fine as individual parcels. Starting with an address or Assessor’s Parcel Number, you can learn zoning, parcel size, ownership, and much more. (Use the "View Reports" button, once you have highlighted the parcel.) Please note that in the Maproom, this information may be out of date, or in need of other refinement.
