City of Oakland Administration Complex

The City of Oakland Administration Complex will consolidate staff from five city agencies into one central location. These offices will be located in three buildings which flank Frank Ogawa Memorial Plaza in City Center, and will house more than 2,500 city employees. These buildings include historic City Hall, which re-opened in September 1995 following a two year renovation and seismic retrofit; the flatiron Broadway Building at the corner of Broadway, San Pablo Avenue and 14th Street; and the Dalziel Building at Clay and 15th Streets.

All three city administration buildings are scheduled for completion by mid-1998. In addition to providing much needed office space for city staff, the project also includes the redesign and construction of Frank Ogawa Memorial Plaza in front of City Hall.
