Representatives from BART, EBMUD, AC Transit and the Alameda County Public Works Agency staffed the Transportation Action Team. Each entity had specific methods and plans for reducing the vulnerabilities of their infrastructures. By hardening various sites within each organization, the urban area as a whole benefits. To this end, the Team decided to split the available funding evenly between organizations.

RECOMMENDATION:

The Transportation Action team recommends the UASI grant be used to supply the following equipment:

BART- Closed Circuit TV equipment
AC Transit- Security Gates
EBMUD- Equipment for mobile command vehicle
AC PWA- Traffic Control Caches, GIS upgrades

SPENDING PLAN:
