You probably have read recently that the US Geological Survey is upgrading the possibility of a major quake happening in the Bay Area to 67% within our lifetimes. In the hills, we are especially vulnerable to both earthquakes and fire. |

We are looking to establish a CORE group (Citizens of Oakland Respond to Emergencies) that will include these blocks _________________________________________________.
In the event of a major emergency, we want to know what we can do for you. Do you have any special needs or concerns? Come and let us know. And rest assured that you can participate in this process as much or as little as you like.

An important outcome will be a map/roster of pets, children, those with special needs as well as where your gas, electricity and water lines are so if you are away, your home and family will be better protected.
