Workplan
for
Year Two

Objective #1
Complete a long-term loss reduction plan of all natural hazards to the
City's infrastructures. The plan will include a
complete assessment and a long term strategy and will begin cost effective
repairs/replacements of designated infrastructure.

Objective #2
Complete the City's long term loss reduction
strategic plan which includes a collaboration of
various agencies and special districts,
business communities and partners.

Objective #3
Continue Project SAFE's home and business model program to include
education and training programs, a tool lending and community retrofit
work force program; complete 100 community models, and
propose an overall 5 year program and plan to
achieve a minimum of 1000 homes or business "models" in Oakland.
