Oakland, free of cost.

Emergency Plan Development/Review
Provide technical assistance, templates, and/or review existing
plan for updates.
Floor Warden/Life Safety Monitor Training (includes video)
Provide template for Development of Floor Warden Program
(can tailor to meet needs).
Offer on-site training or at the Fire Training Academy.
Fire Evacuation/Relocation Drills (includes video)
Facility Walk-thru/Coordinate with Fire Engine Company to
participate in, facilitate, and evaluate drill(s).
Fire Extinguisher Training (includes video)
COSTS FOR TRAINING LISTED ABOVE ARE:
$100 per hour for business (includes
time spent on tailoring materials to meet customer's
needs)
$60 per hour for non-profit agency, plus cost of supplies/materials

Business Emergency Preparedness Education & Training
Program (includes video)
Includes three levels of training, available to all Oakland
businesses:
- Basic Emergency Preparedness: Includes tips on
what to do before, during, and following an emergency/disaster;
offered on-site; 1.5 hours.
- Basic Emergency Response Teams Training: Offered
on-site; 1-2 hours.
- Urban Light Search and Rescue Skills Training:
Offered at the Fire Training Academy; 8-10 hours.
The Business Emergency Preparedness Education & Training
Program is not based on an hourly rate; it is based on
the levels of training provided and the number of employees
and preparation time in the development of printed materials
