citizens of the City of
Oakland
to be a wildfire safe community by:

Inspecting
approximately 26,000 private, public, and undeveloped
properties in the Wildfire Prevention Assessment District

Map)

Enforcing
compliance to the legal standards for public and fire
safety year round (See
Standards)

Ensuring
that vegetation management and fuel reduction is conducted
on all City-owned property with other City agency partners
and private contractors

Collaborating
with other regional agencies and jurisdictions in the
Hills Emergency Forum partnership (See
HEF membership)
