Park Use Permit For Special Events

The term "Special Events" is any event that is open to the public, including but not limited to rallies, concerts, fundraisers, fair, exhibits or related activities, and which is more specifically defined in Title 9, Chapter9.52 of the Oakland Municipal Code.

A Special Event Permit application from the Oakland Police Department
An OPD Special Events Permit application should accompany the OPR Park Use Application along with a written proposal describing the special event.

The Special Event Unit office hours are Tuesday through Friday, between 9:00 am ~ 3:00 pm.
