Public Pools

Temescal Pool is closed due to an unforeseen mechanical failure. Temescal Pool will be closed for two and a half to three weeks. Please call (510) 597-5013 for a situation status update on the repairs. We apologize for any inconveniences.

The City of Oakland, Aquatics Unit is more than proud to provide citizens, patrons and participants with quality year-round and summer swimming activities at five public pool locations.

In addition to programs operating out of the five pools, each is also available for reservation, but must be coordinated and rented through the Aquatics Unit. Please contact the Aquatics Unit for additional information on pools, pool use, programming or rental information at (510) 597-5014.

Castlemont and McClymonds Pools are owned by the Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) and are currently closed. For more information about Castlemont and McClymonds Pool, please contact OUSD at (510) 879-8107
