
Lakeside Park Garden Center
The Lakeside Park Garden Center is a large, handsome facility designed for many uses. Centrally situated inside Lakeside Park, the Lakeside Park Garden Center is one of the city's most inviting and versatile complexes and is also home to many area garden clubs. Located across from Lake Merritt and Children's Fairyland, the center boasts a Japanese Garden and Koi Pond, and an extensive array of herb and flower gardens alongside this charming center. In addition, the complex houses two separate fully functional kitchens (1 small and 1 large) and three separate rooms available for rent.

Parking
For your convenience we offer on-site parking
Parking is $2.00 per car on weekends and holidays. Lakeside Park offers a variety of parking along Bellevue Avenue.

Lakeside Park Garden Center is accessible and has a TDD equiped pay phone on-site.
Minimum Rental Requirements
There is a minimum of 4 hours for the use of the facility. Please Note: Decorating and clean-up must be included in total rental time. There is a mandatory set-up and tear-down fee. The set-up and tear-down consists of City staff setting up and putting away tables and chairs, sweeping and mopping. Rental group is responsible for removing any decorations and placing all refuse in containers.

From Berkeley
Take CA-24 West towards Downtown Oakland and stay to the left at the fork in the ramp.
Take Highway 580 East towards Hayward.
Exit on Grand Avenue.
Merge onto MacArthur Boulevard and turn right onto Grand Avenue.
Turn left on Bellevue Avenue.
Enter the Park Entrance, with Fairyland to the right side.
The Garden Center is to the left.
From Hayward
Take Highway 580 West toward Oakland.
Take the Lakeshore Avenue exit.
Lakeshore Avenue turns into Lake Park Avenue.
Merge onto Lakeside Park Avenue.
Turn right onto El Embarcadero.
Turn left onto Grand Avenue.
Turn left onto Bellevue Avenue.
Enter the Park Entrance, with Fairyland to the right.
The center is the first building to the left.
From San Francisco/Richmond
Take the Bay Bridge.
Highway 80 East to Highway 580.
Take the Grand Avenue exit.
Merge onto MacArthur Boulevard.
Turn right onto Grand Avenue.
Turn left on Bellevue Avenue.
Enter the Park Entrance, with Fairyland to the right.
The center is the first building to the left.
