It is a pleasure to welcome you to Sequoia Lodge, one of seven delightful and charming rental facilities available for reservation at the City of Oakland, Office of Parks and Recreation, Life Enrichment Agency.
Sequoia Lodge
A quaint and cozy retreat, like a hidden treasure amongst the fragrant eucalyptus trees and towering redwoods. This enchanting and secluded facility has an encompassing wooden deck that compliments the natural surroundings. There is a small conversational area with an exquisitely designed stone fireplace and an adjacent banquet room, which is medium in size. As you take in the breath taking beauty of the atmosphere that surrounds Sequoia Lodge, you will be delighted by the skylight that allows natural light directly in the center of the banquet room.

The type of facility users and usages include but are not limited to:
A meeting space for organizations, associations, businesses, churches and private parties. This charming and versatile facility can also accommodate retreats, receptions and much more.

Minimum Rental Requirements
Minimum of 4 hours plus deposit for the use of the facility. Please Note: Decorating and clean-up must be included in total rental time. Please allow plenty of time for preparation prior to your function. There is a mandatory set-up and tear-down fee. The set-up and tear-down consists of City staff setting up and putting away tables and chairs, sweeping and mopping. Rental group is responsible for removing any decorations and putting all refuse in containers.
Americans with Disabilities
Sequoia Lodge is accessible except for the sunken conversation area with stone fireplace which is not fully accessible due to stairs.
Rental Facility Accessibility
The City of Oakland, Office of Parks and Recreation is fully committed to compliance with provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, although the above listed rental facilities are accessible but not 100% ADA compliant, special accomodations may be required and requested to access a rental facility, please contact the Recreation Inclusive Program Coordinator, Scott Means, to make the necessary arrangements at (510) 615-5755 or (510) 615-5883 TDD.

Directions
From Berkeley
Take the southbound Warren Freeway.
Highway 13.
Tunnel Road/CA-13 becomes CA-13 South.
Take the exit to the Joaquin Miller Road/Lincoln Exit.
Stay to the left at the fork in the ramp.
Merge onto Monterey Boulevard.
Turn left onto Lincoln Avenue.
Turn left on Mountain Boulevard.
Continue onto Mountain Boulevard.
Turn right to Sequoia Lodge.
From Hayward
Take Highway 580 westward ramp towards Oakland.
Merge onto I-580 West.
Take the CA-13/Warren Freeway (Highway 13) exit towards Berkeley.
Merge onto CA-13 North.
Take the Joaquin Miller Road exit.
Merge onto Mountain Boulevard.
Continue going straight onto Mountain Boulevard, right to the Lodge.
From San Francisco/Richmond
Take the I-80 East ramp towards Oakland on the Bay Bridge.
Highway 80 East to Highway 580.
Merge onto I-80 East.
Take the I-580 East exit towards 24/Downtown Oakland/Hayward-Stockton.
Take the Fruitvale Avenue exit.
Turn left on champion street.
Champion Street turns into Lincoln Boulevard.
Right above Highway 13 turn left onto Lincoln Avenue.
Turn left onto Mountain Boulevard.
Go straight onto Mountain Boulevard, right to the Lodge.
