Crucible Afterschool and Weekend Youth Classes

Open registration is underway for our incredible Youth Winter Session, featuring many exciting and educational after school programs and weekend classes. The Crucible Youth Program offers unique opportunities for youth to explore, learn and create projects, ranging from welded sculpture, stone carving, youth blacksmithing and marble making. The Crucible Youth classes emphasize the arts, mathematics and sciences through hands on, intensive and fun classes.

The Crucible Youth program is dedicated to promoting healthy youth development practices, strengthening youth competencies in leadership, self awareness and skill building, community involvement and positive social relationships. We are pleased to present our new afterschool programs, which include:

  • Welded sculpture
  • Introduction to Jewelry Making
  • Intermediate Welding Sculpture
  • Beginning Youth Blacksmithing I and II
  • and our special community offering: Stone Carving Tool Making: Recycle Metal

We also have some wonderful weekend classes, which include:

  • Fused glass jewelry
  • Glass Bending Sculpture/Introduction to Neon
  • Marbles, marbles, marbles
