Canoe and Kayak Flatwater Sprint at Lake Merritt
Oakland ~ The City of Oakland, Office of Parks and Recreation is more than delighted by the decision of the United States Olympic Committee and National Governing Body for Canoe and Kayak sports, to hold the trial Olympics at Lake Merritt/Lakeside Park. We would like to invite everyone to attend this special event, which will take place April 15 ~ April 18, 2004.

The USA Canoe and Kayak (USACK) announced the official location of Oakland, California for the 2004 United States Olympic Trials for Canoe and Kayak Flatwater Sprints in December 2003.
