Temescal Pool Renovation and Scheduled Closure Dates Monday, February 23, 2004 Oakland ~ In support of the community, to promote awareness and for the safety of the public the City of Oakland, Office of Parks & Recreation (OPR) would like to announce that the Temescal Pool located at (Oakland Technical High School) 371 45th Street will be closed due to scheduled renovations beginning Tuesday, February 24, 2004. Renovations to the pool are scheduled to begin promptly on Wednesday following the closure date and will be reopened on Wednesday, June 30, 2004. We apologize if during the time of the renovations that the pool closure causes any inconvenience to patrons and groups who participate in recreational activities at Temescal Pool. It is our intention to provide instrumental, free and low-costing programs, accessible and safe facilities for everyone to enjoy – we look forward to an improved and more efficient pool. Programming schedule will move to Deferemery Park Pool on Wednesday, February 25, 2004. The program schedule will not change.
