Oakland East Bay Symphony at the Paramount Posted in the El Cerrito Journal a publication of the Contra Costa Times on Friday, February 20, 2004 Written by Staff Writer Oakland ~ Conductor Michael Morgan and the Oakland East Bay Symphony have a lot of help for tonight's performance of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's mighty Mass in C minor at the Paramount Theatre. Two sopranos, a tenor a baritone and the forces of Magen Solomon's Oakland Symphony Chorus have been marshaled for the effort. Also on the program is Mozart's "Ave verum Corpus," a motet for chorus, strings and organs, and the world premiere of Ann Lathan Kerzner's Adagio from "Diary of the Damned."
