Scouts Racing at the Annual District Pinewood Derby
Monday, March 15, 2004

Oakland ~ Troop 201 based out of Lincoln Square Recreation Center proudly participated at the annual district pinewood derby on Saturday, March 6, 2004 at Saint Jarlath Catholic Church which is located at 2634 Pleasanton Street in Oakland. The District Pinewood Derby took place on Saturday where Boy Scout Troop 361 holds their Saturday scout meetings, with anxious youths and happy competitors gathering to put their racing cars to the test.

Participants were provided with the identical car kits which included a piece of pinewood which needed to be carved, modified and decorated as each scout saw fit, prior to the events at the race.
