City of Oakland Presented with Awards of Excellence, Merit

Oakland ~ The City of Oakland, Office of Parks and Recreation has been selected as a 2003 California Parks and Recreation Society (CPRS) District III award of excellence and merit winner for five separate Agency Showcase categories, in a population of over 100,000.

Oakland Parks and Recreation is proud of the achievements and awards of excellence and merit that will be received for the department's web site, brochures, advertisements and programming. The department will be presented at the CPRS awards and installation banquet on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at the Pleasanton Senior Center located at 5353 Sunol Boulevard in Pleasanton, California.
