20th Anniversary of the Roundtable Associates, Inc.
Changing the Landscape of Recreation, Parks, and Conservation through People, Parks, and Programs.
For Immediate Release on Monday, March 28, 2005

The Roundtable Associates and The City of Oakland Office of Parks and Recreation present the 20th Anniversary of the Roundtable Associates, Inc. National Forum and Training Institute on May 4th ~ May 8th, 2005.

The 2005 Round Table Associates, Inc. (RTA) National Forum and Training Institute is in fact an urgent and imploring call to action. A call that is in essence a dynamic furtherance of RTA's unceasing effort's to expand and otherwise advance the integrity and productivity of the park, recreation and conservation movement-particularly action-strategies that offer opportunity for young professional, minorities and women to help determine the quality and diversity of services available within minority communities.

The theme of this 20th RTA National Forum and Training Institute is: Changing the Landscape of Recreation, Parks and Conservation through People, Parks, and Programs. Considering all it's many organizational implications, this is yet another critical and timely issue RTA is urgently inviting its members and colleagues to come together and resolve. Without a doubt, the new and increasingly complicated social, economic and political climate unique to this twenty-first century is dictating that park, recreation and conservation agencies seize every opportunity to buttress their efforts to make sure the quality of their service delivery keeps pace with tax payer needs and expectations.
