Angela joined the City in 2000 and has worked in the Budget Office, Office of Parks and Recreation and, most recently, was Principal Financial Analyst in the Finance and Management Agency. Angela has served as acting Agency Administrative Manager since July 2003.

Other changes have taken place in the Finance and Management Agency. A recent announcement confirmed the appointment of Marcia Meyers as Director of Personnel Resource Management and Bob Glaze as Chief Technology Officer. Noel Pinto, the former Parking Manager, has left the City for a new job opportunity. Francine Larkrith-Thompson is serving as interim Parking Manager. Gregoria Torres has been serving as acting Controller since July of last year.

Financial Services Agency
The mission of the Financial Services Agency is to provide direct services to Oakland residents and businesses and support services to the Mayor, City Council, City Manager and City departments. Direct services include portfolio and debt management, customer service related to business tax and assistance with finance related inquiries. Support services include financial management analyses and monitoring, federal and state legislative support, procurement services, warehousing and commodity inventory, and mail services. The goal of the Financial Services Agency is to provide all direct and support services with timeliness, accuracy and courteous customer service.
