An Asian American Children's Spring Art Exhibition Posted on the Oakland Library Website on Monday, April 05, 2004 Exhibit Dates: April 1st through June 30th, 2004
The exhibit is put together by Doris Chen, who has been teaching art to both children and adults at her Berkeley studio since 1987. Each year, Chen's young students show their Chinese New Year animal paintings and drawings at the Asian Branch's children's area. Last summer, her exhibit of young people's computer-generated Manga graphics were very popular with patrons of the library.
