This meet will give the opportunity for girls and boys to compete separately and as a team against their peers in the long jump, softball throw, 50-100-200-400 meter dash, and 4 x 100 relay. The field part of the event for the long jump and softball throw are based on distance and accuracy. The running events are based on time.

Top Winners
The top two winners in each event will participate in the NOR-CAL Hershey State Track Meet, to be held at San Jose City College on June 19, 2004.

Participants can enter either two track and one field event or two field and one track event up to and including the State/Provincial Final. Please check the event you would like to participate in the local Hershey's meet. The relay counts as a run event. Participants are advised to please ask for the assistance of coaches or recreation leaders for any help on the participating events.

Entry Forms Due April 23
Entry forms to participate are due on April 23, 2004 and may be turned into participating coaches at school sites or recreation leaders at recreation centers. For an entry form or for additional information, please contact the Sports Department at (510) 238-PARK.
