Youth Bicycle Safety Program Graduation Thursday, April 22, 2004
Oakland ~ The City of Oakland, Office of Parks and Recreation (OPR) is proud to present the Earn Your Bike Program youth graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 6, 2004 at 4:30 p.m. at Golden Gate Recreation Center located at 1075 – 62nd Street in Oakland. Everyone is enthusiastically invited to attend this special graduation and much anticipated celebration. Join the Earn Your Bike Program in thanking the young participants, between the ages 9 through 14 years old, for their dedication and public service to the City of Oakland. We look forward to seeing you at the graduation ceremony honoring youth who have successfully completed the Earn Your Bike Program, intended to provide opportunities, education, to reduce cycling accidents, and create parkland stewardships to preserve resources for future generations to enjoy. Graduating participants will be presented with their very own safety helmets and bicycles.
