Oakland ~ The City of Oakland, Office of Parks and Recreation announces that Temescal Pool will remain closed to the public until the end of June and/or beginning of July due to scheduled renovations. Temescal Pool is adjacent to Oakland Tech High School (next to Studio One Art Center) and is located at 371 45th Street in Oakland.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will extend additional classes and aquatics programs to be held at DeFremery Pool while Temescal Pool is being renovated. DeFremery Pool is located at 1269 18th Street in Oakland.

Live Oak Pool will also be closed until further notice due malfunctioning water heating equipment. The Office of Parks and Recreation apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause patrons and we hope to have the equipment replaced as soon as possible. Live Oak Pool is adjacent to Oakland High School and is located at 1055 MacArthur Boulevard in Oakland.
