A Day at the A's

Oakland ~ Support Friends and enjoy a day at the Oakland A's on July 18th while they battle the Chicago White Sox. Tickets are $18.00 each and half of the proceeds will go to support Friends of Oakland Parks and Recreation. We hope to see you there!

"Friends of Oakland Parks and Recreation (FOPR) is a non-profit organization whose 20+ year mission has been to improve the quality of life for all Oakland citizens by generating funding and support for projects and programs which enhance and supplement recreational, environmental, educational, beautification and leisure activities offered through the Oakland parks and recreation centers. Providing grants that (1) foster environmental education, recreation, sports or beautification of the Oakland parks, (2) encourage community gardens or (3) rehabilitate or maintain parks and recreation facilities." ~ as reported from FOPR's website
