Overnight Eco Excursion Program
Monday, June 21, 2004

Oakland ~ The City of Oakland Office of Parks and Recreation is proud to offer the Overnight Eco Experience (OEX) to Oakland's youth. Parks and Recreation has teamed up with California State Parks to provide this outdoor educational experience to teach the youth of today to take care of the world of tomorrow.

Oakland youth ages 9~11 can participate in the two-day program which provides a hands-on science and environmental stewardship program. While camping at Big Basin State Park in the Santa Cruz Mountains, campers will participate in community service learning projects and ecology activities.

Note: You will need Acrobat Reader to view or print the brochure. To get a free copy of Acrobat Reader click here.
