An Elegant Affair & Reception Friday, July 02, 2004 Save the Date Oakland ~ The City of Oakland, Office of Parks and Recreation will host a delightful Intimate Evening of Celebration of the departments’ new beginnings. The event will be held at the Jack London Aquatics Center (JLAC) located at 115 Embarcadero West in Oakland on Saturday, July 31, 2004 from 5:00 pm ~ 9:00 pm. Please save the date -- come and join us to celebrate National Parks and Recreation month. The reception is to share the vision of the Office of Parks & Recreation and to engage the community in Recapturing the Rich Legacy of Oakland Parks and Recreation Through People, Parks and Programs. Celebrate with the City of Oakland and Discover the Benefits of Parks and Recreation.
