Northern California Lifeguard Games For Immediate Release on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 Office of Parks and Recreation Lifeguard Vanessa Lee took "Female Iron Guard" honors at the Northern California Lifeguard Games. Vanessa out scored over 70 other women from around Northern California. Vanessa is a swim coach and lifeguard at Live Oak Pool and has been working for the Office of Parks and Recreation Aquatics Unit since 2002. The City of Oakland team continued their tradition of strong showings by placing 4th overall out of 32 teams. Save that Date City of Oakland |
