Park Boulevard seeks volunteers for planting

The Glenview Neighborhood Association of Oakland seeks volunteers to help plant the Park Boulevard Median Strip from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 14 and 28. Volunteers should come to the parking lot area of Park Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 4101 Park Blvd.

Sections of Park Boulevard will be coned off and safety vests will be provided. Some child care also is available. To sponsor plants, send donations to the Glenview Neighborhood Association, c/o 4200 Park Blvd., PMB #111, Oakland, CA, 94602. Volunteers can call 510-482-3128 or send e-mail to ParkBlvd@comcast.net.
