Studio One Announcement For Immediate Release Friday, September 24, 2004 
Paper trails in some instances are politically correct. Trees yield all manner of things including an amazing vision, people capture in paintings. Art, for many of us is also pleasurable to view. Like Fall colors, there will be an exhilarance in the works on paper cultivated by children and adults at Studio One Art Center. The highly regarded perennial and seasonal artists who teach at the Studio One Art Center, nurture people to blossom. The next budding season at Studio One Art Center, 365 45th Street, in North Oakland, is the Fall season Monday September 13 through Saturday November 13, 2004.
During the current break from classes, you can begin your trail of discovery by calling the registration office (510) 597-5027 Mondays through Fridays 9:00 am to 4:45 pm, to ensure receiving your brochure. Leaf through 80 listings which include physical/mental fitness and artistic classes/labs for adults; for teens the Studio One Art Center offers drama, photography, dream journal art and the return of the Saturday afternoon teen club; for children ages 6-12 there are 8 weeks of Art Exploration classes that include learning how to make magnets/pins, drawings, sculpting, assemblages, found art, acrylic stained glass, paintings, hand building clay, paper mache, paper crafts, plaster, fun books, newspaper making, paper designs, writing and illustrating stories, making papers, wrapping, gift and holiday papers. There is also a drama class for children ages 8-12. Not only is there 4 weeks from November 22 ~ December 17 Holiday session for adults, the Art Center's popular Holiday Arts Camp for children ages 6-12 is scheduled over two weeks, December 20-23 & 27-30. After close observation, informed and timely response with returning your registration form(s) should give you something pleasurable. Like an absentee ballot, you can make sure your request is apparent. Celebrate the creative spirit in all of us.
