Oakland — The 31st annual Oakland Black Cowboys parade will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in downtown Oakland.

The parade, which starts at 14th and Adeline streets, will march along 14th and Broadway to the reviewing stand at Frank Ogawa Plaza.

The parade will turn onto 12th Street and head to Defremery Park, at 16th and Adeline streets, where a festival will be held, said Wilbert McAllister, president of the Oakland Black Cowboys Association. He said there will be 40 entries in this year's parade.
