Outstanding Commitment & Service Award Monday, October 13, 2003 Scott Means Named as Award Recipient For 2003 Oakland ~ The annual award from the City of Oakland, Mayor's Commission on Persons with Disabilities (MCPD) has been award to Scott Means for his outstanding commitment and service to the Disability Community, to the City of Oakland, and to the goal of ensuring equal access and equal opportunity for persons with disabilities. The MCPD will present this prestigious award to Scott Means, who is the Oakland Parks & Recreation Inclusive Program Coordinator, on Monday, October 13, 2003 at 3:00 pm. The MCPD members are noted as being eager to have the opportunity to personally commend Scott and to speak with him regarding his future goals and objectives with the City of Oakland and through the Inclusive Program at Arroyo Viejo Recreation Center, located at 7701 Krause Avenue in Oakland.
